Panasonic has joint to other laptop makers with launching its new CF-Y7 Laptop with Santa Rosa platform.

CF-Y7 is a 14.1-inch (1,400 x 1,050) display, laptops with clear good sides and bad sides.

The good sides are:

It is powered by 1.4GHz Core 2 Duo L7300, and 1GB of RAM and a super multi drive.

It features A/B/G/N Wi-Fi, and runs Windows Vista Business.

It has got 7.5 hours battery life although it is a thin-and-light laptop.

The bad sides:

It has a short storage of 80GB hard drive,

It has only SD reader instead of 5-1 media card reader

It brings only PCMCIA slot instead of the preferred ExpressCard.

It is an expensive laptop and costs ¥275,000 ($2,227)
